Nothing here is advice

The pages on this site, including the tax dates, thresholds and explanations, are general information about UK tax and company law. They are not advice on your own circumstances and no client relationship is created by reading them.

Advice you can rely on comes only in writing, from us, after an engagement letter is in place.

The calculators

The calculators apply published rates and thresholds to the figures you type. They run entirely in your browser: nothing you enter is sent to us, saved, or stored anywhere.

They deliberately simplify. They do not account for pension contributions, student loans, other income, a spouse or partner, salary sacrifice, marginal relief edge cases, associated companies, or the many reliefs that might apply to you. Rates change, and announced future thresholds can change before they take effect.

Treat the output as indicative. Do not file, pay or plan on the basis of a number from this site without having it checked.

Accuracy and availability

We keep the site accurate and current as far as we reasonably can, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors or always available. We accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on the site's content, except where that liability cannot be excluded by law.

Regulation and complaints

Oakmoore Accountants Limited is a firm of ICAEW Chartered Accountants, supervised by ICAEW for anti-money-laundering purposes, and carries professional indemnity insurance; the insurer's name and the territorial coverage of the policy are available on request. If you are a client and something has gone wrong, tell us first, in writing, and the principal will deal with it. If we cannot resolve it, you can take the matter to ICAEW at icaew.com/complaints.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England & Wales.
